SEASONAL TRANSITION ESSENTIALS
These 10 seasonal transition essentials are timeless in cut, neutral in color, easy to combine and, above all, adaptable to any weather situation, so you can cover up in style from morning to night.

1) The trench coat
For almost 2 centuries, the trench coat has been the most faithful fashion companion, covering us in our most varied outdoor activities.
From its origins in Scottish chemical workshops in 1820, through the trenches of the First World War from which it takes its name, to the catwalks of the greatest fashion houses, this knee-length, double-breasted, waist-length, flared jacket is still today the essential of our mid-season wardrobe.
Why do we love it so much? For its perfectly balanced fabric: windproof, breathable and waterproof cotton, to protect us from all eventualities. For its functional, chic and timeless cut, equally suited to an office, weekend or evening look.
From the most classic to the most eccentric, there’s no mistaking it: your choice will be the best. With it, anything goes!

2) The perfecto
The origins of the perfecto lie in post-war rebel ideology.
This short leather jacket, defined by a crossed zipper (allowing a double layer on the bust), a large collar secured by snaps at the ends, zippers at the bottom of the sleeves and a belt at the waist, was originally designed, at Harley Davidson’s request, to protect bikers in the event of a fall. Its primary function was later hijacked by the various cultural movements linked to rock/punk music and cinema in the 50s and 60s, turning it into a symbol of aspirations to freedom.
Since then, numerous variations have been devised to constantly reinvent it, without ever tiring of it. To this day, and for a long time to come, it remains an essential part of our wardrobe.
Why to we love it? For its iconic look (more or less rebellious, but always with character), for its practicality (keeps you warm, short jacket), for its versatility (goes with almost any style, and accompanies us in all our activities, from the sportiest to the most refined).
Choose rocker or more chic, depending on your style and desires. If it’s a 1st, think black for greater versatility. If it’s a habit, neutral or brighter colors are welcome for a more spring-like look: free yourself, there’s something for everyone!

… or any other spring coat
If, after studying the perfecto from every angle, you still don’t like it, too bad – it’s simply not the right jacket for you!
Opt instead for any other spring jacket that will keep you warm, dry and light, for your wildest or most relaxed activities, with or without prints – let your heart guide you, you’ll love wearing it!

3) Sleeveless dresses
Short or long, the little sleeveless dress will be a mainstay of your mid-season wardrobe.
Worn over a sweater or shirt, with tights or bare legs, under a cardigan/blazer or spring coat, it will be the key element in many of your layering schemes. Choose a simple cut in neutral tones (prints are allowed) for the most versatile combinations, and don’t hesitate to play with its texture for maximum allure.
4) the cardigan
Winter or summer, the cardigan is the king of our days and evenings. Worn over a camisole as a sweater, or thrown on as a little wool in the evening, carelessly over our bare shoulders, it slips easily under a thicker jacket to spread its warmth and bring us comfort and softness.
Classically short and fitted, it can also be worn longer and looser for a more casual look.
5) The white shirt
A timeless classic for so long, and we understand! A staunch companion of our closet at all times, it dresses every look with a simplicity and minimalism that bring balance and serenity to an outfit. Chic one day, casual the next, it can be worn over a camisole, jeans, a dress tied at the waist, tucked into a skirt, or under a sweater… the list goes on. It’s a sure-fire way to add a touch of effortless elegance to any style, and we love it for that!
6) Rain boots
A major asset in protecting us from the unpredictable inter-seasonal weather. We like them higher up to keep us dry whatever our mood, whether we’re strolling indoors or out in the rain, with a touch of color to brighten up the mood, or in a total look with a trench coat for a look that’s 100% mastered and stylish.
7) Booties
Shorter than boots, and often lighter too, they bring a more spring-like air and are perfect with dresses, skirts, shorts (worn with tights, for example) for a look that’s fresh, but still ready for any eventuality. For the best choice of bootie, make sure it stops at the thinnest part of the leg, to accentuate it and elongate the silhouette.
8) The scarf
Lighter and less bulky than the winter scarf, the scarf is the key mid-season accessory.
Preferably in silk, it will keep your neck warm with delicacy and add a touch of chic to all your outfits.
We like to choose a colorful or printed one for a lively touch to mark the arrival of spring.
The little extra: it can also be worn in the hair, on the shoulders in case of chills, at the waist as a belt, or tied on a bag for even more style… Let’s hear it!
9) The umbrella
Often the forgotten friend of style, yet so useful. We like to be able to take refuge under it in case of a downpour or light rain.
You can opt for a mini version, which fits in a handbag to make sure you don’t forget it, or for a more assertive XXL version, for a “wow” effect and maximum protection.
You can add a touch of eccentricity with color or prints, giving free rein to your creativity – anything goes to brighten up a rainy day!
10) Headgear
As much a fashion accessory as a practical one, headgear can be a real asset to the seasonal transition.
Sometimes less cumbersome than an umbrella, it will also protect you from the sun, to a certain extent, while giving you a lot of style. For a more chic look, a hat would be more appropriate, and for a trendier look, a cap would lead the way.
